Corporate social responsibility is a multidimensional phenomenon aiming at seeking synergy in the environmental, social and business activities. We conduct our business policy in accordance with the highest standards ensuring the highest quality and safety of production.
We undertake many activities that are designed to protect the environment as well as aim at improvement of the working conditions
Protection of the environment is an essential factor in the company’s strategy, this is the reason why for years we have conducted effective activities in this direction. In early 2000, we committed ourselves to undertake continuous efforts to minimize our impact on the environment, improve the technical safety and health of workers and local communities. We are a voluntary participant and executor of the “Responsible Care” project under which a systematic monitoring of the enterprise’s impact on the individual elements of the environment is carried out.
We take a lot of activities designed to achieve specific environmental effects aimed at reducing consumption of raw materials and reduction of harmful emissions, among others, we have reduced emission of engineering pollutants emitted into the air due to the heating of the plant by more than 99% (coal-fired boilers were replaced with natural gas-fired boiler-houses). We are a co-founder of the Association of West Pomeranian Chemical Cluster “Green Chemistry”. By implementing innovative solutions, we work with scientific institutions (we regularly order tests of the effectiveness of our fertilizers) and we are also members of research consortia.
We are open-minded, listen to the surroundings and take care of good relationships with our customers, suppliers, employees and the local community. We promote pro-social initiatives for the benefit of the immediate environment as well as the city and region actively participating in the life of the local community, supporting institutions, associations and clubs, such as, among others, Culture Club “Skolwin”, OKS “Hutnik” (Housing Estate Sports Club “HUTNIK”), OKS “ŚWit” (Housing Estate Sports Club “ŚWIT”), West Pomeranian Agricultural Advisory Centre in Barzkowice. Fosfan Employees are the winners of ecological competitions organized as a part of the “Responsible Care” Program.
